Dear Ms. Lunelle,

As you know, two important things happened at the Diversity Advisory Committee meeting of the Tampa Commissioners that you, Ms. Jenna, the Designer of the CSA War Memorial at Veterans Park and I
would attend.

I found it ironic that a member of this Committee of the Council would not only sanction the Design of the Sons of Confederate Veterans War Between The States Memorial at Hillsbourough County
Veterans Park, but that no member of this Committee was aware that the WBT Sub-Committee had been summarily dismissed without probable cause or notification, the agreed upon Design and removed it from
the ground breaking site. This action would lead to a complaint being filed in the Circuit of the Thirteenth Judicial Court (Case No. 16-CA-003892).

(2) Those Black members of the Positive Image of Ybor City Committee, who came to report on an event Titled: Ybor City’s Unity In The Community Event (Sunday June 12, 2016, Time: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM,
Place: Centennial Park, 1800 E. 8th Ave., Tampa, Fl.) would extend an invitation to the Sons and Daughters of the Confederacy to attend this Event as either Vendors or vistors at their choosing. Contact
Persons: Marvin Knight – (813) 453-5690, Chief Tom Forward – (813) 334-5705, Trincia Washington – (813) 928-3879.

As Ms. Jenna and I prepared to leave Marianna, Florida, I would be presented by one of the visitors a publication titled… Florida Civil War Heritage Trail; Florida Department of State Division
of Historical Resources, A Florida Heritage Publication, 500 South Bronough Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0250. www.flheritage.com,
(800) 847-7278.

I only mention this publication because it typifies how Black folks are used against the South in its propaganda. Only the Union US Colored Troops are touted for their participation in the
theater of war in Florida. The only mention of the Southern African was that they had to be constantly watched for fear they would run away to the Union forces.

No mention of the Africans who went to engage the Union army alongside their White family in Marianna, Florida. No mention of Dr. Alexander Darnes, Aid de Camp of the Honorable General Kirby
Smith whose childhood home of both that I visited in St. Augustine, Florida. No mention of Anthony T. Welters, Isaac Papino, or Emanuel Osborne, Black Confederate soldiers whose gravesites I would
visit in San Lorenzo Cemetery in St. Augustine, Florida. No mention of Richard Christopher Columbus Quarls of Tarpin Springs, whose great granddaughter we would visit, and who was so very proud of
his Confederate service as a infantryman. And who would relate to us that the Ku Klux Klan had not only attended his funeral service, but also would pay for his burial.

And the list goes on to include the trained cadre of Africans in Florida, Freedmen and Bondsmen and Bondswomen alike who loyally served and supported the Confederate Cause in however humble and
noble a capacity.

Most importantly was the bond of love and affection between Black and White that transcended the Economic Institution of Slavery, and is so incomprehensible to people of the North.

The Northern policy of divide and conquer coupled with economic strangulation of the South go a long way towards explaining much of the rancor and hatred of Black/White relations in the South that
began in earnest during the period of so called reconstruction. And now again as the unknowing and unwitting, Blacks, Poverty Pimps, White Folk Guilt Liberals, Southern Traitors, and Scalawags aid
in a period of Southern, Social and Cultural Genocide that includes the Christian teachings of the Bible using the lie of Nikki Haley as catalyst to their charge. God bless you!

Your brother,
