Dear Ms. Lunelle,

I would report to you this morning, Saturday, June 11, 2016, my plan to post the Southern Cross in the Black Historic District of Asheville, North Carolina. However, several very disturbing things
have merited the following commentary that puts that action on temporary hold.

First of all, to hear that anyone would brand you a racist, a term now meant to demean anyone who loves and defends their race and region, most commonly Southern folk, is a bigot. And let me say
that anyone who lays that label on you just as well lay it on Jesus Christ. Enough said!

As you know, I would halt my journey in Florida to deliver a speech to the members, family and guests of Sons of Confederate Veterans Secession Camp in Charleston, South Carolina. My dear mom
would have been so proud as she was a native of South Carolina who loved it dearly. However, she would have been so disappointed in the actions of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce in their
posting of their 2015 Annual Report and 2016 Business Priorities so deemed their Legislative Guide (page 5) “Take Down That Flag”.

This only heightens my and so many others belief that there were others involved in the Church massacre in Charleston, and that it was a conspiracy complicit in nature with other individuals
or organizations no less in common with the actions of Benedict Arnold. Enough said.

I would move on to deliver a speech to the Rains Brothers Camp #1370 Sons of Confederate Veterans and their families and guests in New Bern, North Carolina, a place where the so called New
Bern Historical Society so filled with Southern hatred, that they have taken over a battlefield site and turned it into a Yankee Memorial.

Armed with the help from the Civil War Preservation Trust where they received 24.65 acres of the site of the Battle of New Bern, they erected a propaganda information board touting not only
the disgraceful Emancipation Proclamation to stick it to the citizens of New Bern, but also to the war criminal, General Ambrose Burnside, was given a written Memorial to cite his terror in the city.

And if this sacrilege in a Southern town was not enough, these Northern antagonists would take down the Confederate Battle flag from one of the three flag poles at the entrance, and deny the Sons
from placing a monument at the entrance of the site. This is an insult of high fashion that would never have been tolerated any place in the North. Enough said as we continue to battle the onslaught
of Southern social and cultural genocide by the protagonist no less in nature than the carpetbaggers, scalawags and traitors of the 12 years of so called reconstruction in the South. God bless you!

Your brother,

HK Edgerton
