Mr. Edgerton,

My name is Jeffrey Holliday and I have a Black Confederate in my family tree. My 3rd great grandfather was a Sergeant in the 23rd South Carolina Vols, Co. I out
of Clarendon County South Carolina. His name was William Robert Coskrey. He took a man or back then his slave named Jessie Charles with him as his body servant. I only
found out about Mr. Charles when I was looking for Confederate Pensions. The pension showed my 3rd great grandfather and him as his body servant. Your actions for
Confederate history have inspired me to dig deeper to find Jessie Charles. I added him to my family tree because of his dedication to W.R. Coskrey. I only wanted to
share this information with you because I value your opinion. I have been following your passion for some time and would like to meet you one day Sir.
