In March, my church, which is PCA, and a mainly Black church is coming together to have what is called Grace Encounter. I have been in a discussion with the pastor of the Black church over a Slave Museum that has opened. I had watched the video about the museum and posted about that the museum did not properly represent slavery because all it speaks about is the plantations that cruelly treated slaves and nothing about the slaves who helped fight the Yankee threat. I even referenced them to the paper I had written back in 2003 that is on the SCV website. I was told by many supporters of the pastor that I was misinformed and that I need to look up the “true” history. I don’t know if you’re interested in attending this conference and speak to the people who wish to dishonor the true history of Blacks in America, but if you are, here is the website for it: http://graceencounterconference.com/
I know I’m not, but I feel like I’m fighting these people by myself. Plus, I do not see their feelings towards me to be very graceful, which is something that this conference is supposed to be all about. Any help you might be able to lend will be met with much love and grace.

Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me. Captain, that is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave.
