Thanks for sending this to me! God bless you for what you are doing! I am pleased to tell you that our SCV camp has purchased land where the Battle of Batchelders Creek took place and Confederate forces under Generals Hoke and Pickett defeated Union forces. We plan on eventually erecting a monument there to honor our Confederate heroes. Great hearing from you!
