I’m 26 years old, and I’m a member of the SCV (HL Hunley camp 143 in Summerville, SC). I’m a history teacher currently in my fourth year and I’m also in an interracial
relationship. That being said I’ve been watching a lot of your interviews and the things you say really move me.I’m writing to ask if you have ever though of writing about your story? I would love to learn more about your story and knowledge of black confederates. I would be willing
to work with you on a writing project. I have some articles published with the Abbeville Institute, a book review published on The Society of Independent Southern Historians
website, and I’m currently working on a book with a company called shotwell publishing (they publish exclusively southern material).If we could work together on a book, I’d be willing to give you the majority of the proceeds, or even donate it to the SCV. I don’t care about making money, I just
