Subject: An Open Comment / General Robert E. Lee
To: “J Hornsby” [sixgun411@gmail.com]The press picture of the Cenotaph of the Honorable General Robert E. Lee in Richmond, Virginia with red paint splashed all over was a very depressing sight. However,
more depressing was to see the acronym “BLM” written across the monument as if to proclaim that the domestic terrorists of the organization, Black Lives Matter, was
responsible for the skullduggery because it leaves the perception that decent black people were responsible for the sacrilege; “just blame it on the black people.” The
valley of evil from the days of reconstruction. My wish for today is if someone or entity would open up a Go Fund Me page for yours truly so that I might journey to Richmond to spend at least a week or two with
the Southern Cross posted at General Lee’s Cenotaph, while confabulating with any who come talking about this godly man who befriended the African people, and who would
lay down his life for Virginia and the whole of the people in the Southland. God bless all!HK Edgerton
