Mr. Edgerton,

My name is Zak Bradshaw from Fort Worth, Texas and I would like to thank you for what you do. Two of my 4th Great-Grandfathers fought in the Confederate Infantry and I’m a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. They were in the 4th Texas and 43rd Alabama Infantry. I have seen videos of you defending our Southern people and the relationship between white and black people in the true South, unfortunately I have never had the opportunity to see you in person. I grew up in a small town of 2,000 people in Delta County, Texas where General Maxey organized the 9th Texas Infantry and my parents land is only one mile from their original training camp (Camp Rusk). The people of the north and most in the large cities of the South do not understand the loving neighborly relationship our two peoples still have in the small towns throughout the South and that we aren’t black or white, but all identify as Southerners. I just want to thank you for your time and dedication to educate people on the true history of the war and honoring all of our families who suffered and sacrificed for the Southland.

Zak Bradshaw
