Thats on top of the $2.5 million that UNC is giving the Confederate group for taking the Silent Sam Confederate statue that once was on the Chapel Hill campus.

Dear Ms. Lunelle,
I want to reiterate that, first of all, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill does not belong to the Board of Governors; it belongs to the people of the state, and that includes Silent Sam, and the Historical Commission that has spoken in our behalf. Put Silent Sam back.
And the North Carolina Sons of Confederate Veterans have violated their charge by colluding with these people to remove him for their blood money. And, furthermore, I shall post my colors on my University as much as the good Lord gives me health and strength, and a running vehicle to get there to do so.
And as soon as I return from posting the colors at the grave site of General Forrest, I shall do my own fund raising to return to Chapel Hill. No amount of chump change shall keep me away. And these thugs are giving the SCV too much credit. They have never, to my knowledge, posted the colors on this campus, but I have, and will post it not just in Chapel Hill, but wherever they have a school. God bless you!
