HK, I have a letter from my penpal in Ghana and it is for you. We exchange our history and culture. I was hanging on to it in hopes of giving it to you in person at our parade in Richmond and my work schedule hasn’t been cooperative. Its been a couple of years, if I can still put my hands on it may I mail it to you?

My recently adopted 4th grader ask’s : Daddy, who freed the slaves, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr. or Bill Clinton ?……..I’m thinking where did our public school curriculum and I go wrong ?
