You know that when you mention the American Civil War, there are some people who think it was All about Slavery. Most of us can talk on the subject until we are blue in the face and we are just seen as racist, ignorant and brainwashed. You, Mr. Edgerton, give me hope that One day the truth will be heard and accepted. It takes a Great man to step out of what is comfortable and share the truth to people who would, under different circumstances, reject it. For me to witness a black man in butternut uniform carrying the Confederate Navy Jack doesn’t just speak volumes, it means more… well… more than I am able of writing.
