Dear Ms. Olga,

God bless you, and thanks for the very kind message. I have been so blessed by God. There is something so special about being on this world and being born Southern. I have felt the love that Christ talked about from my Southern family, as did so many of my African ancestors. Me, the Son of former slaves who feels chosen to do all I can to help vindicate an honorable people who have been so wronged by war and propaganda.

I have so many things to be grateful about, and foremost is when my great, great grandmother Hettie was brought to the shores of America, that she was taken to the Honorable T.R. Edgerton family of Rutherfordton County, North Carolina. It matters not that she was a slave. It was our ticket to find Christ, and a people who would teach us how to survive and prosper in the greatest land on his earth.

Nothing this good can come without a price. And if one studies and listens very carefully, they will find that the people of the South, one called slave, and the other master, led the world from the caves of darkness once, and can do it again.
