Michael, I have never seen any indication that Mr Edgerton had admiration for slavery in the South. I have only seen a respect for the truth and an appreciation for the events which led to him being a part of America today, a very fine part of America! We are all just as lucky to have Mr Edgerton as he is to be a part of us.
Mr Edgerton is a Southern Gentlemen to be admired for his positive role model. I applaud him for presenting history in a positive and truthful light instead of trying to use it as a crutch.
