I knew when I met you some 15 years ago that you were a history maker and I see now you are a history preserver. We had a great conversation over the course of the next few years concerning Your knowledge and my Great grandmothers memories of a post civil war life in North Carolina. I proudly call you my friend and I will never forget who you are, were and hopefully the man you will become. I know I’m just a travelling musician but I sing your song…. the one of truth!!
