Mr. Edgerton, I have heard that you are considering leaving facebook. I hope that you decide not to do this. I must tell you that you are one of the reasons that I woke up as a Southerner to our heritage after growing up never knowing anything about the Confederacy and the black and white Southerners who fought under her flags.
I know you have helped open the eyes of many other Southerners in the same way, and perhaps have even taught some of our Northern friends what our history was truly all about.
You are a shining example of what a Christian Southerner should be and I ask that you continue to be our inspiration, here on facebook as well as in the public and other places. Thanks for all you have done over the years
