SCV may be wavering on support of Hardwick & Childress – if we go on – and I really think we should, may have to develop a whole new support base. If we give up the cases after so much fighting, the message we send becomes clear to our opponents – Confederates are easy to beat in court – outspend them and most importantly out-wait them – they have NO staying power. I don’t know how we’ll do it – but we must find a way to continue!

I hope that the SCV will be joined by other individuals and organizations to help with these cases. I certainly could not agree with you more. People seem to give so freely to anything but the Southern cause, yet they love the phrase; the South shall rise again while those of us who fight for the dry bones of our ancestors and our homeland beg for pennies and receive so few of them. Even Hollywood closes a blind eye on the injustice we suffer. I could raise tenfold the money that we raise for the Humane Alliance, or even for the NAACP in one hour than I can raise for this war that we battle daily. I now face the possibility of killing yet another car, the fifth one, but I would give every dime I have left and walk to see funding raised for Bazz and Candice. I hope Bazz sends us some Heavenly help. I am so proud of the new look of the SLRC. God bless you. I hope you have better luck here on facebook than I have had trying to raise funds for our cause. Out of more than 10,000 friends on Facebook, I have managed to raise $300 in two years. I saw that Zimmerman raised more than $200,000 in less than a week. Why won’t they help us? Only the Almighty God has the answers. I for one now tire at throwing rocks at the limousines of the Poverty Pimps and those who pull their chains. God bless you.
