New Years Day 2007 / A Day To Remember

On this January 1, 2007 morning, as I had done on Christmas morning ; I would once again adorn the uniform of the Southern Soldier , pick up his Battle Flag, head down Interstate 26 to the Long Shoals exist between Asheville, and Hendersonville, North Carolina, where I would hold a three hour vigil in remembrance of him on this New Years Day. I must report that there was not one single nay sayer in the whole of the hundreds of people who either stopped to chat, or wave, or honked their horns as they passed me by. Today had been a great day to wear the Confederate Gray, and fly the flag of the soldiers of my Southern homeland.
