1890’s Day Jamboree in Ringgold – May 22 & 23
From: HK Edgerton – hk.edgerton@gmail.com
Date: May 21, 2009Dear Ms. Dean,
God bless you and everyone in Ringgold. I am honored that you would invite me to Ringgold and make such a generous offer. However, because of my recent journey into Washington, D.C., and serval other Confederate Memorial Day events that I have attended, I am just about out of shirts, and I have leaned on my dear brother and CEO of Dixie Outfitters, Mr. Dewey Barber, so much that I knew that on such a short date it would place a burden on his staff to send me more, and certainly not to even mention the cost to his organization to accommodate my request; I am sorry that I will not be able to attend your event.
Please keep me informed to another opportunity to fellowship with all my friends in Ringgold. I certainly think of everyone there often, and if I could afford the expense of coming to your event, I would come without the shirts.
Your brother,
HK
