A new documentary about Black Confederates

Date: Tue, 7 Jul 2009
From: Damon Young, dayoung@gmail.com

Dear Mr. Edgerton,

my name is Damon Young. I was born & raised in Maryland (my family still has extremely deep roots in rural Dorcester County), but I currently live in Los Angeles, where I am an independent filmmaker. I’m directing a new documentary on the history and legacy of African-American involvement in the Confederate States Army, which will be produced by the international award-winning production company, New Love Films. Since you are America’s most prominent & vocal Black advocate for Black Confederates, I would love to feature you in the film. Is this something that would interest you?

Thank you in advance, and I hope to here from you soon.

Sincerely,
Damon A. Young
