Dear Graham & My Facebook family,

I am so overwhelmed, and honored by the unheralded outpouring of love and moral support that I have received from you all.

As the ten year anniversary of the Historic March Across Dixie approaches, I have been secretly preparing for another march back to Texas. What I could use first is a petition to my little brother, Terry Lee, and to the National Commander of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, other Southern organizations, and to my southern family, and to those supportive from the North to support me in this endeavor once again.

Terry Lee and so many others believe that I have done it, and it is history, and i need not do it again. However, my Southern family still suffers from a historical wrong, and my babies still have to hold their heads in shame for being Southern, or for showing any expression of it, and lastly the plaques remain removed from the wall of the Supreme Court Building in Austin.

My shoes are ragged, my uniform tattered, my pockets empty, my body older; the conditions are the same. I am ready to go! God bless you all. And special thanks to you Graham.

Your brother,

HK
