Subject: An Open Letter & Open Report / Domestic Terrorist
To: siegels1 [siegels1@mindspring.com]Dear Ms. Lunelle,
As a member of Save Southern Heritage, I was first appalled at the content of the letter sent to Shawn McCormick, the General Manager Of Temple Terrace Country
Club about the upcoming event to be held September 7, 2017, at the Club where I am among those scheduled to speak about what many in the civil rights arena see as a war
on the South. And even more put back I am that Mr. McCormick did not turn the letter over to the District or County Attorney for review for possible criminal, or civil prosecution.
The letter ask that Mr. McCormick disassociate his organization from doing business with Save Southern Heritage, the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Sons
of the Confederate Veterans, all of whom are recognized by the Federal government via the Internal Revenue Service. Promising rewards should they do so.I am told that the governing body of Temple Terrace capitulated to this imponderable diatribe that puts a stain not only on the aforementioned organizations, but to
my character as well, since I am one of the targeted speakers. And to make matters worse for me is to view an article in the Tampa Bay Times (Temple Terrace Citizen of the Year skips his awards banquet in protest of
Confederate Event) by one Travis Malloy, who would deem the event as having racist tones. In my opinion, this is another stroke of libel directed towards Save
Southern Heritage and myself. And while I am not a citizen of Temple Terrace, I too have a love for the city, and Temple Terrace Country Club, that has long standing, as I have played golf as a
guest of its member, Ms. Lunelle, for well over a decade, to include the most recent Hickory Golf tournament, and a welcome guest in Ms. Lunelle’s beautiful home.As Mr. Mallory does not know me, or I presume any of those he levels his diatribe as being racist, I would suggest that he take a long look in the mirror, offer
an apology, or get on the train for libel as well. God bless you!Your brother,
