Dear Ms. Lunelle,

I would journey to Sylva, North Carolina, Wednesday, October 9, 2019, and make my way up the road that leads to Western Carolina University, stopping from time to time to pose for a picture while accepting the praise from the many citizens who would stop.

Ironically on this day, i would not run into a single nay sayer. I would post the colors for about two hours in the public easement outside Walmart, and afterwards make my way back down the road to where I had parked my car. It was then that I would meet Abby, the sailor who provided the attached pictures.

Abby would express his pride in me for the stand that I make for my homeland and our fallen heroes. I would thank him for his service to our country. Abby is now one of my new friends and brother.

It was another great day in Dixie, and I think I accomplished my mission to uplift the spirits of my Southern family, and the many from the North who expressed that they thought i was doing a good thing. God bless you!

Your brother,

HK
