Authorities investigate vandalism at Confederate cemeteries

CLARKE COUNTY, MS (WLBT) – Investigators were looking into vandalism at two historical burial grounds in Clarke County Monday.
The Confederate Soldiers Cemeteries in Quitman and Enterprise were defaced over the weekend.
Clarke County Sheriff’s Deputies say many of the tombstones were spray painted.
The local chapter of The Sons of the Confederate Veterans is offering a one thousand dollar reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
