ANDERSON COUNTY (KYTX) — The Confederate flag that sparked controversy last week in Anderson County could be getting a permanent home.
The Sons of Confederate Veterans now say they’re planning to purchase private land to display the flag. The group says despite protestors’ complaints of racism, Confederate servicemen deserve to be honored.
They’re planning to create a larger Confederate history exhibit around the flag.
