As we reported back in July, the Sons of Confederate Veterans Stonewall Brigade appealed the ruling against its lawsuit over flying the confederate flag in Lexington.

A Roanoke Federal District Court judge threw out the group’s lawsuit against the city of Lexington.

The group says, in a press release, the 4th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in Richmond on March 20, 2013.

The Sons’ appeal claims that Lexington’s actions amount to quote, "viewpoint discrimination."
